Sam and Samantha Barr are the Senior Pastors of Echo Church.
 
They were both born and raised in Whakatāne and together with their beautiful daughters, Ivy and Camden, love living in this stunning part of the world.
 
Before pastoring, Sam worked as a teacher at Trident High School and Samantha ran her own business helping people with debilitating physical and mental conditions find health and restoration.
 
Sam and Samantha are passionate about the message of Jesus and have a heart to see people in their community find hope, healing and wholeness in their lives.
 
As a family they love enjoying the outdoors, hanging out with family and friends, keeping active and having fun together.
